Veon is delighted to contribute to the sponsorship of the U19 Girl Basketball team from Mungret Community College who have been invited to compete in the World Schools Basketball Championships which will take place in Valencia, Spain this November. This is the first time an Irish girls’ team has been selected to compete at this prestigious competition.
This amazing team has won 6 All-Ireland Titles over the last 4 years and deserves support to achieve its €11,000 sponsorship target.
It is wonderful to be involved in showcasing the rise of women in sports in Ireland in recent years, specifically basketball in Ireland and Veon is fully behind them in their campaign.
