Veon Arboriculturists conducted a Tree Risk Assessment on this mature black pine (Pinus nigra) which has lost two large limbs, leaving large wounds where decay is developing. Bark-included junctions were likely the contributing factor in these failures, and the remaining limb over the lane has remained steadfast for many years despite the narrow bit of sound wood it is attached to.
