It was a pleasure for VEON Ltd to be involved in Jennings O’Donovan & Partners’ celebration of 75 years in business. As a part of their celebrations, they decided to plant a tree for each of their years in business and together with Sligo County Council and Glanua, a site was identified which is currently being converted to a public amenity site. 75 native trees, including species such as Aspen, Sessile Oak, White Thorn, Hazel, and Holly, along with native wildflower seeds were planted on the site helping to restore Sligo’s Far Finisklin Road Park.
James Griffin and the Veon Arboriculture team led the planning of this project along with Siobhan Roddy and Sean Molloy, and a sizeable team of volunteers from Jennings O’Donovan & Partners as well as Glanua.
A huge congratulations to our colleague James Griffin and the entire VEON Ltd Arboriculture team for delivering such an excellent project for Jennings O’Donovan & Partners who continue to demonstrate their climate leadership credentials and their ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility.
