A frustrating aspect of tree surveys is not always getting to see how the tree fared. Fortunately for us, and unfortunately for the tree, we got a chance to review a lodgepole pine (Pinus contorta) that we previously condemned due to Dyer’s maze gill fungus (Phaeolus schweinitzii) and a pronounced lean that showed no signs of straightening up.
Happy that our diagnosis was correct and no damage was done…
