Veon’s new Regional Office was officially opened yesterday 31st March at the brand new Co:worx state-of-the art office-hub facility in Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford which was officially opened by Minister of State TD Robert Troy and Cllr Peggy Nolan Cathaoirleach Longford Co Council.
The new office will serve as a base for Pascal McKenna, Veon Regional Manager North East, alongside the Veon Ecology team who will also be located in the new offices.
Commenting on the opening, Trevor McHugh stated that “the spacious and modern Co:worx office was brought into being by a highly dedicated committed group of local people who share a new vision for Edgeworthstown as a regional hub for business activity and demonstrates what can be achieved with appropriate supports and a “can-do”attitude. Veon is delighted to be the first commercial occupant in this new facility and is very happy to support this innovative and community-enhancing project.”

This Co:worx volunteer-led project was funded through the Regional Enterprise Development Fund, the LEADER Programme, the Town and Village Renewal Scheme, the Built Heritage Investment Scheme, and the Connected Hubs Fund, through the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment; the Department of Rural and Community Development; the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage and Longford County Council.
